EFA Dinner and Awards: A Night to Remember
The 2012 EFA Dinner took place in London on Saturday night, with a new venue and a new format, both of which proved to be big hits. The biggest attendance at this event for a long time meant a large number of people were able to congratulate the winners of the first ever EFA End of Season awards, for which Fives players the length and breadth of the country have been voting in recent weeks.

May 2012: Golden Oldies in action at Westminster

The third annual match between the veterans of the OWs and the OIs took place at Westminster on Tuesday 8th May.
Spring 2012: State school to build three new Eton Fives courts

St Bartholomew's School in Newbury, Berkshire, is to build three new Fives courts. It used to have two open air courts until its facilities were rebuilt two years ago and is aiming to have three covered courts from September 2012.
Record Draw at 2012 Adams Cup

Several generations of Fives players were represented at the Old Citizens' annual trophy, for the Adams Cup, at the weekend. The oldest player on court, EFA vice-president Gordon Stringer, is in his seventies, while the youngest quartet are still at school.
2012 Geneva Tournament: Brits grab Euro Fives glory

Three players based in England were among those who shared the European Fives Championships which has just been held in Geneva.

The Veterans Tournament has changed in format since its beginnings 28 years ago and there are now three categories to suit the abilities and ages of the competitors. The outcome of the three finals were as follows:
2012 Aldenham Tournament: Pulsford and Patel make a Perfect Partnership

The 2012 Heath Tournament was played on Sunday 13th May amidst bright sunshine. Most competitors were members of the Aldenham Club but thanks must go to the North Oxford contingent who turned out in force despite being scheduled for a second match at Marlborough later the same day.
April 2012: Cooleys back in the Mixed
Having last won the Mixed Championships title in 2009, Seb and Charlotta Cooley regained the crown at Eton yesterday with a 2-0 final win over defending champions Howard Wiseman and Dominique Redmond.
