April 2012: North Oxford win Division 2

North Oxford have officially won Division 2 after a walkover in their final match against the Old Carthusians, who were unable to raise a side. The three points gained mean that the Oxford team finish with nine wins from eleven matches and a haul of 27 points, which puts them in an unassailable position at the top of the table; they thus regain the Aston House Trophy, which they first won in 2009.

2012 Marsh National Schools' Championships

The 2012 Marsh Insurance National Schools' Championships took place at Eton last week with over 450 pairs taking part in a memorable week's Fives. Shrewsbury had an excellent week, providing both pairs for the Open final for the first time ever.

2012 Aberconway Cup: Hughes family win the Generation Game

The Aberconway Cup was retained at Eton yesterday by Mike and Chris Hughes, who narrowly beat Grant and Guy Williams in the final.

A sunny but cold day heralded the twenty-second Fathers and Sons Tournament held yesterday at Eton College. An entry of sixteen pairs for the second season running provided four groups of four for the morning session with each pair playing the best of three games, foot at eleven, with group winners playing in the finals in the afternoon.

Highgate win the 2012 Prep Schools

This year for the 45th Prep Schools' Championships, we returned to Harrow on the 15th March and were most fortunate to enjoy a warm and dry day. We had an entry of 39 pairs from 10 schools and welcomed Wetherby Prep for the first time.
