Tributes to Mike Harding, former Honorary Secretary of the Old Salopian Eton Fives Club from 1979 to 1998, have been pouring in since his untimely death at the age of 68.

Lifetime Achievement Award for Martin Powell
13/05/17: The 2017 EFA Dinner and awards ceremony at Abercorn School last night saw Martin Powell presented with a well-deserved lifetime achievement award for his years of unsung and dedicated service to the EFA as Secretary and Treasurer. Also handed out were the other now traditional end of season gongs, as voted for by members of the Fives-playing community. Read on to see the full list of winners for 2016/17.

11/05/17: A dozen Swiss fives players have just visited London, playing a six-pair match against the Old Citizens and taking part in their venerable club competition for the Adams Cup (est 1928).

Veterans 2017: Old'uns but Good'uns

02/05/17: The Veterans Competition continues to be a great finale to the fives season and is a pleasing opportunity to spend an afternoon playing fives and meeting up with friends and foes alike. This year was particularly competitive with many individual games lasting beyond the hour mark; there would be aches and pains aplenty the next day!
