19/02/18: This year's Oxford University story has been one of one success after another, with men's and women's Universities titles, the mixed universities title and men's and women's Under 21 trophies all already in the bag and yesterday at Eton saw the addition of the EFA Trophy, after strong performances to beat North Oxford in the semi-final and Old Salopians in the final.

EFA Trophy: Qualification Goes Down To The Wire In Thrilling Finale

20/11/17: This year's EFA Trophy qualification round took place at Eton on Sunday in its new pre-Christmas slot, with a large entry of 10 teams and another fantastic day of Fives, featuring the full range of youngsters, students, veterans, top women players, regular club players and players returning to Fives after a long absence, all topped off with a thrilling final round of matches that left the qualifying places in doubt right up until the last minute.

EFA Trophy Jan 2015: The Usual Suspects

26/02/15: The EFA Trophy in many ways embodies the soul of the game. It's fun, friendly (most of the time) and the eligibility restrictions mean that there's none of your Cooley type flashiness or show-offery on display here - just an eclectic mix of youngsters on the way up, old 'uns on the way down and plenty who never made it that high in the first place. Eight such teams made it to the start line at Eton yesterday to take part in the qualifying stages of this year's tournament and all went home having taken part in a long and thoroughly enjoyable day of Fives.

29/02/16: Finals day of the EFA Trophy often produces some of the most exciting matches of the season and the 2016 edition certainly delivered its fair share of thrills and spills at Eton yesterday, ending in an Oxford derby in the final, with Gown defeating Town as the University side won the competition for the first time ever.

2014 EFA Trophy Qualifiers: Harrow to the rescue

The qualifying rounds of the 2014 EFA Trophy took place at Harrow yesterday and produced a highly enjoyable day's Fives, with eight teams taking part and a huge number of close matches played. The final pair of the final match eventually determined who made it through to the semi-finals on Sunday 2nd March and it will be Old Salopians v Old Wulfrunians and Aldenham v Oxford University to see who makes it through to the final.
