13/05/17: The 2017 EFA Dinner and awards ceremony at Abercorn School last night saw Martin Powell presented with a well-deserved lifetime achievement award for his years of unsung and dedicated service to the EFA as Secretary and Treasurer. Veterans 2017: Old'uns but Good'uns

02/05/17: The Veterans Competition continues to be a great finale to the fives season and is a pleasing opportunity to spend an afternoon playing fives and meeting up with friends and foes alike. This year was particularly competitive with many individual games lasting beyond the hour mark; there would be aches and pains aplenty the next day!

Masters of the Mixed

24/04/17: A near record entry of 24 pairs took part in the 2017 Mixed Tournament at Eton yesterday, as undoubtedly the strongest field in the 32 year history of the competition enjoyed a fantastic day of Fives. Seb & Charlotta Cooley proved themselves to be still the masters of the mixed format with a sixth consecutive victory together and an eleventh altogether for Charlotta.

Ladies Final and Kinnaird Cup Final Preview

This Sunday sees the final of the two Eton Fives national championships with defending champions Tom Dunbar & Seb Cooley and Karen Hird & Charlotta Cooley defending their titles against James Toop & Matt Wiseman and Ashley Lumbard & Emily Scoones respectively. The ladies final kicks off at Eton at 1pm, with the Kinnaird final following at 2:30pm. All spectators are welcome!
