08/10/19: The 2019 Welsh Invitational tournament - now in its seventh year - took place at Rydal Penrhos at the weekend and was once again a huge success, proving that there is talent and enthusiasm for the game in abundance in North Wales.

18/09/18: The sixth edition of the now well-established Welsh Invitational tournament took place at Rydal Penrhos in Colwyn Bay at the weekend and resulted in a second successive double success for Matty Fiorita, who retained both the Saturday and the Sunday trophies that he won last year.
Wily Waglands Win in Wales
19/09/16: Saturday and Sunday saw the latest edition of the season-opening Welsh Invitational tournament at Rydal Penrhos school in Colwyn Bay. Now a well-established weekend at a thriving Fives centre, this year's tournament featured nearly 40 Rydal schoolboys and girls from Year 7 to Year 13 playing alongside gap year coaches past and present and invited guests.

22/09/15: The third annual Welsh Tournament was played at Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay at the weekend, with the usual mixture of school pupils, staff, current and former gap year coaches and guests taking part in a highly enjoyable weekend of Fives, which once again demonstrated just how far Fives has come at the school in the last five years since the game was re-established there under the guidance of Mike Leach.

The second ever instalment of the Eton Fives Welsh Tournament took place at Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay over the weekend of 20/21 September 2014 and provided a terrific couple of days Fives for all those who played.

Over the weekend of 14th/15th September seven visitors and over twenty pupils and staff from Rydal Penrhos gathered for the first ever Welsh Tournament. This was exactly a year after the official opening of the refurbished courts to which the EFA had contributed.
