Summer Fields Win The 2018 Prep Schools' Tournament

20/03/18: The 2018 Preparatory Schools' Fives Tournament was won by Summer Fields in a tightly contested final against Berkhamsted.

Summer Fields’ ability to retrieve almost anything out of the buttress and their tenacious volleying proved too much for the Berkhamsted pair. The Summer Fields’ pair included Sebastian Corso and Gus Stanhope; the latter is in his penultimate year. The event was held at Harrow School on Friday 16th March 2018 with 32 pairs entered. The matches played out according to seeding until Highgate 1 had to withdraw after beating Ludgrove 1 in a deciding game in the quarter-final. The score in the final was 12-5, 4-12, 12-6 to Summer Fields.

The Jeremy Marston Plate was won by Berkhamsted 3 after a close final against Summer Fields 4. Sunningdale retained the Roddy Forman Salver with their second pair defeating their third pair.
