10/09/18: Notwithstanding some late withdrawals (and one unfortunate diary mix-up) a healthy entry of 20 players assembled for the latest edition of the Westminster fives tournament. The ten pairs were split into two pools of five, with each pool match consisting of a single set to 15.

Veteran Neil Margerison continued his 2014 trophy winning spree at the weekend, adding the Westminster Cup to his Aldenham tournament victory earlier in the summer.

Twenty two players competed on Sunday for the Old Westminsters' club cup, in its first year. Schoolboy Riki Houlden and club competitions secretary Laurie Brock won the solid silver trophy, beating fellow schoolboy Fred Tomlinson and long-time club guest John Reynolds in the final, 12-8.
