National Schools' Championships Day One: Ipswich Win The U16 Girls

16/03/26: The main week of the 2026 National Schools' Championships in association with Advanta Wealth got underway at Repton yesterday with the U16s first in action.

The first silverware of the week went to Ipswich in the U16 girls competition, Millie Hodgkinson & Betsy Laws dominating the field and beating last year's U15 winners Shrewsbury in the final. Millie & Betsy go again in the U15 competition today, looking for a second trophy in consecutive days.

The boys U16 competition also got underway, reaching the last four; the semi-finals and final will take place today as well as the opening stages of the U15 competition.
