Eton Fives is Front Page News!

18/11/24: The new courts at Holyport College formed the basis for a substantial feature on Eton Fives in Saturday’s edition of The Telegraph.

The game was also mentioned on its front page and, amazingly, in an editorial which concluded that “Eton has contributed much to the nation: collars, prime ministers and mess. Fives, in the eyes of fans, is the best contribution of all.”

Whilst it had a few errors – the accompanying photo of a Varsity match at Eton was wrongly captioned, for example, and “modern concrete pouring technology” has not yet had any impact on court building – overall the article is a hugely positive advert for the game.
