Fancy Dress Fives

16/12/20: Congratulations to Gideon Osen who last night won Aldenham’s traditional Fancy Dress Fives evening.

Played at Mill Hill, the theme this year was PPE…any kind of PPE.

The event also gave us the chance to say goodbye to Old Berkhamstedian Mark Blundell who retires from his job on Thursday and will be retreating to his Cromer bolt hole. After five years and being dubbed the Butcher of Berkhamstead, we are sad to see him go but he promises to make the occasional guest appearance. Mark was awarded a special two-fingered trophy to take pride of place on his Norfolk mantelpiece.
