Eton College Courts Reopen
05/07/24: Eton’s Provost, William Waldegrave, hosted an event on 14th June to celebrate the completed renovation of all sixteen of its Fives courts, with a new roof installed across both banks of eight, and new floors and finishes in several courts.
The work has been carried out by Francis Construction with Gardiner & Theobald project managing and John Reynolds acting as a consultant.
Those attending were also given a sneak preview of the new Constantinidi Eton Fives Centre, which will be formally opened next season. The Centre has been created by Hopkins Architects, with museum and exhibition designer Charles Marsden-Smedley overseeing its interior, advised by Alex Knight.
