Kinnaird Cup Final 2021 Preview

10/07/21: The final of the 2021 Kinnaird Cup in association with Advanta Wealth takes place at Eton tomorrow, starting at 2:30pm.

This year's match sees a repeat of the 2019 and 2018 finals, as Riki Houlden & Jonny Ho follow their epic semi-final win over James Toop & Matt Wiseman with another tilt at toppling champions Seb Cooley & Tom Dunbar. For Tom & Seb this would be an eleventh consecutive victory in the competition, equalling the individual record of John Reynolds, while Tom is aiming to stretch his lead in the overall wins chart even further and will also achieve the remarkable feat of playing in his twentieth final.

This follows a comfortable win for Tom & Seb in the semi-final today, where they defeated Hugo Young & NOah Caplin 3-0 (12-0, 12-5, 12-4).

Sadly, as the final step on the roadmap out of lockdown has been put back to mid-July, we are unable to host spectators at Eton, so please do not come along to watch in person.

The match will however be live streamed from 2:30pm via the Eton Fives Association Facebook group.

To watch the live stream you can use either your mobile phone (Android and iOS), tablet device (Android and iOS) or computer via the Facebook website or application. To watch the video please click the link in the post that will be made in the group on Sunday afternoon.
