Fives At Wrekin And St Bees

19/09/19: We are pleased to report that Fives is continuing to flourish at two of our smaller centres, Wrekin College in Shropshire and St.Bees School in Cumbria.

Fives at Wrekin was dormant for many years but thanks to the work done by Mark Yates, Emily O'Malley and now Lizzie Boffey, the pupils at Wrekin are spending more and more time on court, as can be seen in the photos of their internal Fives competition at the end of last summer term.

St Bees in Cumbria is even further out on a geographical limb and the numbers of pupils at the recently reopened school is still quite low, but they are all enjoying getting on the school's three Fives courts and were delighted to receive a visit and some coaching from Paul Bowden back in the summer. 

We look forward to seeing pupils from both of these schools gracing the courts for many years to come!
