2018 Richard Bourne Trophy

04/04/18: Congratulations to Stuart Clark who played out of his skin at Charterhouse last week, to win the coveted Richard Bourne Trophy - the internal handicap competition for the Brigands club.

He was one of five who achieved maximum points, requiring computations well beyond my pay grade, to come out as clear winner. The other top players were Andrew Falk, Sandy Savage, Alex Abrahams and Jamie Hepburn. It was a brilliant evening of competitive fives, nicely rounded off with a convivial supper at the Stag. A big thanks to the 20 players who took part.

Earlier in the season, back in January, the club Silver Salver tournament was won by Rod Smart and Mark Platt, who can be seen in the fourth photo below receiving their trophy from donor David Martin.
