Development Managers Wanted for EFA FiveStar Project

The EFA are looking for two development managers to work on the sport's exciting new FiveStar expansion project.

*** APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED ***

A few months ago the EFA decided to adopt a dramatic seven-year strategy of expansion for Eton Fives.

We called it the Fivestar Project because it contained expansion ambitions relating to five areas of the game – Schools, Universities, Clubs and Communities, Coaches and Organisers.

We are aiming to triple the number of active players and to do that we need a big increase in the numbers of centres, coaches and organisers.

We need to raise £4 million to fund the Project. We have been very fortunate that an anonymous donor has given us £100,000 to fund a Development Office over two years. This office will identify the projects in the programme, raise the funds needed and see those project through to completion.

We have already made a start with eight new courts likely to open in the next six months.

We are looking for two Development Managers, one to focus on London and the South East, the other on the Midlands and the North. The job advertisement, currently in The Guardian online site, can be reached by CLICKING HERE.

Alex Knight, EFA member, of Altium Associates is kindly running the recruitment campaign for the EFA.
